My Maggie: December

Happy December and holiday season, my friends! How was your Thanksgiving? I had a blast in NYC. Here's a quick run-down of our activities:

- Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (seated tickets, yo!)
-Quick brunch on the Upper West Side
-Thanksgiving Dinner with friends
-Visit to The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine and viewed the amazing giant hanging phoenixes made from found objects by Chinese Contemporary artist, Xu Bing
-Quick visit to High Line Park
-Matilda
-Rockefeller Center
-5th Avenue Christmas windows
-a bit of shopping and bites to eat
-Brooklyn Flea (great barbeque lunch)
-Dinner at The Meatball Shop
-Visit to the Met to see the Madam Cezanne Show and Islamic art
-Viewing of You've Got Mail, because, duh.
-Sacrament Meeting at Lincoln Square Ward
-Lunch at Ivan Ramen on Clinton Street
-6 cookies purchased, BUT NOT CONSUMED, at Levain Bakery (in my freezer until 12:01 1/1/2015)

Please enjoy my December playlist. There are so many good Christmas playlists out there right now, some of which inspired a few of my choices here. But ultimately, I decided to go with music I already had and stuff that just felt December to me. I'm looking forward to going home to KC for two weeks and spending time with my parents and three siblings + Jed, Juliet, and Nora. We are rarely all together. I'm going to listen to this while I decorate my wee little tree tonight!
