I think I'm overwhelmed at all the amazing accomplishments that my friends and family members are experiencing...If I haven't said congratulations to you- yes you- know that I am sitting here basically in amazement at all that is going on around me. There is no substitute to a heartfelt private message, but I'm just so overwhelmed that I've hardly been able to take it all in. Maybe I'm a little or a lot envious as well! But I know we are all on different paths and there's no way one person can do everything...so here are some examples of things that have been amazing me. See if you can find yourself here...if I miss something it's probably because I'm so jealous that I've locked your accomplishment out of my mind so I won't go crazy.
1) BABIES! being born, being announced and gender-revealed. I think a girl-comeback is in the works.
2) uh. Marriages. So. Many. They are all miracles and so wonderful and I can't keep up with the congratulations.
3) Degrees. J.D.s, Masters in teaching, Masters in Museum Studies, and so many more. I'm in awe. You all inspire me.
4) People getting into amazing schools and graduate programs. This one hurts because I want this really bad for myself! You all inspire me so much. Especially you crazies going to Law School (Lauren H. I want to know what your big change of plans are) and studying art history and museum studies. You all are so accomplished.
5) People going on international adventures...France and Africa.
6) Birthdays. I fail. Can't keep up. Happy Birthday!
7) New jobs...the kind where you actually get a salary and benefits...wouldn't that be nice?
So to all of you: Congratulations! You amaze me. Sorry I haven't been on top of it enough to tell you that individually.

you forgot surviving a semester of 17 credits with 4 As and 2 Bs. thanks!
you are amazing too, ya know!
Oh Maggie, you're so sweet. I feel the same way - everyone around me is accomplishing amazing things! You included Miss Fabulous DC Life. As for my plans, I'm not sure they're all that exciting - just different than what I initially thought. I promise as soon as it's set in stone, I'll get it up on the blog.
Also, I LOVE your new blog header!!!
I'm guessing I fall into Category #1--and while I'm very glad to have your congratulations, for a LONG while it was almost too hard to read your blog, because I wanted so much of what was in there!!! A cool job at an art museum, adventures, life back east, cute clothes and hair--in short, a LOT more romance than what you'd find in MY life!!! I was married less than a year after we all got back from Paris, and while I love my life, it certainly has lacked in the adventure department since 2004. And I wish I'd pushed a little harder for grad school or travel or something like that in my post-graduation-and-marriage years! So...little girl boom aside, sometimes I wish I had more going on in my little life here in my little apartment in Draper. :) The grass is always greener, eh? (Besides, I currently fit into NONE of my button-able pants or summer tops from last year. Everything I own has an elastic waistband or is as big as a tent. Sigh.)
